Structuring a Spoken Answer for the Anaesthetics Interview 2027
Two assessors mark each 15-minute station on three domains and a global rating, so a spoken answer needs a shape they can score in real time: recognise, resuscitate A to E, reassess, refer and reflect for the clinical station; point, example, outcome and reflection for the general station. Here is each structure with a worked example.

Anaesthetics CT1 Interview Resources Compared 2027
Eight anaesthetics CT1 and ACCS interview resources rated 1 to 5 on seven criteria, prices checked 10 September 2026: Anaesthetic Interview (our own product) scores 30 out of 35, ANRO's free guidance 23, Medibuddy 23, Quesmed 21, the RCoA video 19, ST Interview and Medset 17, and ACE Medicine listed no anaesthetics product.

CT1 Anaesthetics vs ACCS Anaesthetics 2027: Which to Apply For
Core anaesthetics is an indicative three years (CT1 to CT3); ACCS Anaesthetics is four, with two ACCS years across emergency medicine, acute medicine, anaesthesia and intensive care before two years in anaesthetics. Both reach ST4 after Stage 1 and the Primary FRCA, share one application and one interview, and the general station will ask you to justify the choice.

MSRA for Anaesthetics 2027: the 15% Weighting
For anaesthetics CT1 the MSRA is 15% of your selection score, 7.5% from Professional Dilemmas and 7.5% from Clinical Problem Solving, with the interview worth 85%. There is no cut-off: it allocates interview slots and ranks the Shortlist Reserve. The 2026 window was 6 to 19 January; 2027's is not yet published.

The Clinical Judgement Station 2027: How It Is Marked, with a Worked Scenario
Fifteen minutes after five minutes of reading, marked out of 50 by two assessors across clinical judgement and decision making, reflective practice and working under pressure. Here is the mark scheme from ANRO's guidance and a post-operative hypotension scenario answered A to E with the escalation point named.

CT1 Anaesthetics Application 2027: Dates, Person Specification and the Ratio
Applications open 10am on 22 October 2026 and close 4pm on 19 November 2026, interviews fall between 11 January and 2 April 2027, and initial offers land at 5pm on 6 April 2027. The 2027 person specification caps anaesthetics experience at 24 months, and 2025's ratio was 12.56 to 1.

Anaesthetics CT1 and ACCS Interview 2027: Format, Scoring and the Veto Rule
Two 15-minute online stations, two assessors each, 50 marks a station and 100 in total, worth 85% of your selection score next to the MSRA's 15%. Appointable at 60 out of 100, with a veto if both assessors give a global rating of 1. Every figure to ANRO's August 2026 guidance, labelled by year.
